Spring has been a little wishy-washy in my neck of the woods. We warm up close to 80 and then another cold front comes in! But we've definitely been embracing the season at our house, planting new flowers and brightening everything up. If your wardrobe needs some Spring cleaning, you should definitely check out the latest Lauren Conrad collection at Kohl's. I'm in love with all of her pleat-neck tops and dresses. For reference, I'm 5'2", usually a medium, and wearing this adorable cherry-print dress in a medium. It's machine washable and can be dried without fear of shrinking, but you'll definitely want to get it out as soon as it's done to prevent wrinkling!
I'm your mom friend who's probably overdressed for the occasion, would rather drink Mountain Dew than wine, and definitely stayed up too late reading last night. Thanks for joining me on this crazy journey!
Happy Monday, friends. Can you believe January is over? This has been the craziest month. Between not having internet for a week and missing...
May's Book Club Pick
When twelve-year-old Jack Turner adopts a starving dog named Bones, he promises his often-absent, alcoholic parents that he will get a job to pay for its food and care. While looking for work, he meets Hank and Mrs. Dawson, who become the parents Jack never had. When Hank is put on trial for a crime he didn't commit, everything Jack holds dear hangs in the balance.
