I've been wanting a pair of boots with buckles for awhile, but I kept putting off the purchase. I didn't want to spend a lot of money on a pair until I knew for sure I'd get a lot of use out of them, but the cheaper pairs I found looked cheap.

Back in late November, early December, I had some birthday money burning a hole in my pocket, so I decided to take the plunge. I came across this pair during a BOGO 1/2 Off sale and haven't looked back.

So let's talk about them. They're made out of a synthetic material and the buckles are strictly for decoration. They're a matte finish, which I like, and the low heel keeps them comfortable for all-day wear.

Speaking of wear, if you follow me on Instagram and are a regular reader of my Real Outfit Roundups, you're no stranger to this particular boot. I wear them with literally everything. I love that little bit of a rough edge they give to whatever outfit I choose. The shaft is wide enough to easily wear over leggings or super skinny jeans, and it's not so tall as to not be able to cuff most other pants.
