Green Dress + Ankle Boots

We've been replacing the floors in our house, including my closet. So I had to temporarily relocate my shoes and dresses so the workers would have a completely clear floor. I moved all my dresses into the closet in my office, and they took up the whole thing! Dresses are always the first thing I look at when shopping. I love how versatile most of them can be. Simply change your shoes and accessories and you've got a whole new outfit!

This waist-defined keyhole dress from Old Navy is such a nice addition to my fall/winter/spring dress collection. The keyhole has a button that makes it easier to get on and off. I like the elastic waistband because I can use it to create a blousing effect for the top, and the skirt has a little flounce hem that adds to its femininity.

I wore this on a mild day where the high was in the lower 70s, so I decided to go with a pair of cognac leather ankle boots. On cooler days, I would add tights or tall taupe boots. When spring rolls around, I'll keep right on wearing it with sandals or open-toe booties.

This dress is 100% rayon so it's pretty thin. I'm usually a medium in Old Navy and that's what I'm wearing so I would say it's true to size.
