Monday Motivation

For the first time in as long as I can remember, I am done with my Christmas shopping save for one gift. If you know me, then you know that I am a notoriously last-minute shopper. It's become a sort of tradition over the years, to be honest, and it's not out of the question to find me out on Christmas Eve. But with the way things have been this year, I knew we would be doing a good bit of our shopping online, so we started early to make sure everything arrives on time. The rest, I picked up this past weekend.

Speaking of this past weekend, it was really nice. Alexis and I spent Saturday shopping with my parents, brother and his wife. We went to lunch together, then hit a few stores. I pulled some sneaky mommy moves and picked up a few gifts for Alexis. We're only one week into the month, and a lot of stuff has already sold out. I went to three stores before I found the Crayola art kit I was looking for.

Sunday was more typical for the weekend. I got caught up on household chores and did laundry. I also wrapped gifts (with way too much help from my 5 year old and cat). It's kind of weird having gifts under the tree this early in the month, ha!

Today (Monday) I'll be shopping with my Granny (and possibly sis-in-law). I've got several things for work set up on auto-pilot, since I'll be away from my office for a good portion of the week. I gotta tell ya, I'm not looking forward to magazine distribution in the cold!

I hope you guys have a good week!
