Amazon Prime Day starts tomorrow. Will you be shopping the sale?
This year, the deals are running for four days - July 8-11. You can find savings on everything from clothing to electronics, even school supplies. All you have to do is be a Prime member. It's $14.99 per month and gives you access to quicker shipping times, streaming, and reading benefits. If you're not sure you're ready for a long-term commitment, you can sign up for a 30-day free trial.
I don't always shop during Prime Day. Last year I did not, but I did share 8 favorite Amazon purchases that were included in the sale. This year, I wanted to share some of my recent favorite purchases as well as some items I'm currently keeping an eye on for Prime Day deals.
10 Things from Amazon I've Been Loving Recently
Super Soft Ribbed Tank Tops -- I admit that I was being ambitious when I ordered these in five colors, but I am not regretting that decision one little bit. These tanks are so comfortable. They are soft and stretchy and don't look like a little boy's undershirt.
Layered Chain Necklace -- I'm not good with jewelry, y'all, but I'm trying to get better. I'm looking for everyday necklaces and bracelets that can go with most anything, and this fun necklace has been on repeat lately.
Flowy Shorts -- I mean, are we surprised these made it on this list? I'll admit that I haven't been wearing them as much the last couple of weeks, but it's been too hot to put much effort into getting dressed, but they're still a favorite. I own these in three different patterns so far.
Wide Belts -- These came in a pack of four, and I think I've worn all of them now. They're really stretchy, which makes them easy to wear with most anything.
Lace Undershirts -- I got the long-sleeve version of this shirt just to try and really liked being able to layer it up under most anything...so I got the short-sleeve version in three colors. These are an easy way to make sleeveless dresses and/or tops more school appropriate without adding a thick layer that'll just make you sweat.
Teal Two-Toned Swimsuit -- This might be my favorite swimsuit I got this year. Every time I've worn it, I've felt confident in my body, even on days when I've been bloated. It's got good coverage, stays in place without bunching or rolling, and is a gorgeous color in person.
Crochet Swim Cover-Up -- I have finally found a swim cover-up that I actually love. This one is so soft and comfortable. It's like wrapping up in a blanket. It's also long enough that I don't feel self-conscious in it.
Sunglasses -- These sunglasses are still going strong from last year. I wear them literally every day.
Weekender Bag -- This bag is perfect for a 3-4 day getaway. It's got a compartment on the bottom for shoes (I can fit 2-3 pair in it depending on what I'm taking) and comes with two smaller bags. I've been using this bag for awhile and so far all the straps have held up. The pattern I have is no longer available, but there are plenty of others to choose from.
Belt Bag -- This is my go-to bag for when I don't want to carry a purse. It's great for trips to the amusement park, museums, or basically anywhere you don't want to have to hold onto a big bag but still want to carry your ID, phone, etc. I have the solid black.
What's in My Cart Right Now
8" Amazon Fire Tablet -- My Kindle has gotten a bit slow and laggy. I've enjoyed it immensely, but I kind of want a tablet again, and I enjoyed my previous Fire tablets. I also really like the price point, even without the Prime Day discounts.
Amazfit Bip 6 Smart Watch -- I recently switched back to an android phone, so my Apple watch no longer serves a purpose other than telling time. The whole reason I even got it was so that I would know when someone called or texted me at school in case of emergencies. So now I need something that will pair with my current phone, and this watch has good reviews and is at a good price point.
Wavytalk Pencil Flat Iron -- I recently chopped my hair off and plan on maintaining the cut, so I need hair tools that are the right size. Everything I currently own, with the exception of my curling wand, is too big. This one has good reviews and is fairly popular.
Pink Overalls -- These are the same overalls I already own and love in three other colors. I really want the pink ones, too.
White Wide-Leg Jeans -- I've been looking at this particular pair of jeans for awhile. I need a new pair of white jeans, and I like this style.
Silver Bracelets -- Like I said earlier, jewelry's not really my thing, so I'm trying to find simple, everyday pieces that are easy to wear and go with anything.
AFMAT Robot Pencil Sharpener -- This is the sharpener recommended most in the teacher group I'm in on Facebook, so I'm going to give it a try this year. I really hope it's part of Prime Day since it's a bit on the expensive side.
Clever Fox Teacher Planner -- This is by far the most useful planner I've used as a teacher, so I'll definitely be ordering a new one. If it's part of Prime Day, even better.
Smart Board Clicker -- I'm replacing the one that I dropped and broke last school year. I can survive without it, but it's a lot easier if I've got one.
Simply Modern Beach Bag -- I've been looking at these for awhile, and I keep balking at the price. I know that they're worth it, but I just have haven't been able to pull the trigger on them. Prime Day might be the right time to buy.
