Instagram Roundup: Spring Outfit Ideas

by - March 25, 2019

I can't believe there's only a week left in March. It'll be summer before I know it, and I'm not quite ready for triple-digit heat or especially the humidity that come with it. Our Spring weather has been all over the place the last few weeks, as you'll see in the arrangement of Instagram photos I'm sharing today. I actually have lots of newer pieces to link to this go 'round.

For sizing reference, I'm usually a 6 in pants/skirts, S/M in tops/dresses, and wear size 7 in shoes.

Shirt: Old Navy / Jeans: JCPenney (similar) / Shoes: Old Navy (similar)

I absolutely love this style of shirt, so easy to dress up or down. It has cute little floral sleeves. I wear a M in Old Navy, and other than this being a longer than I usually wear, it fits TTS. My jeans and mules are both no longer available but I linked to similar options.

Sweater: Straight Laced Boutique / Shirt: Old Navy (similar with peplum hem) / Jeans: Kohl's / Shoes: Target (similar)

I feel like a soccer mom in this outfit, but I love it anyway. Lilac gingham feels so fresh. I plan on wearing this shirt with white jeans/skirt and sandals soon!

Jacket: Levi's (old) / Tshirt: Target / Joggers: Old Navy / Sneakers: Target (similar

I'm kind of obsessed with jogging pants these days. I'm wearing this pair from Old Navy in size S.

Shirt: Old Navy (similar) / Jeans: Kut from the Kloth / Shoes: Target

Shirt: Walmart (similar) / Jeans: Old Navy / Shoes: Target

I love how red shoes add interest to basic outfits or make a darker print feel lighter. These two-piece flats are the perfect style for my flat, narrow, bony feet. Sizes are selling out pretty fast but they do come in other colors. I usually wear size 7 in shoes and had to size down to 6.5 in these.

Shirt: Old Navy (old) / Jeans: The Limited (similar) / Shoes: Target (similar)

Can you have too many striped shirts? I don't think so, and I love the ruffle sleeves on this one. Unfortunately, it's from last summer so it's no long available, but I rounded up some good striped shirt options here, here, and here.

Sweater: StitchFix (similar) / Shirt: Target (old) / Jeans: Kohl's / Shoes: Target (similar)

This doesn't really feel like a Spring outfit because of the plaid, but it was perfect for a decidedly winter day earlier this month.

Sweater: Old Navy (similar) / Dress: Charlotte Russe (similar) / Leggings: Kohl's /
Shoes: Target (similar)

This is such a good layered outfit. The sweater adds warmth for cool mornings and can be removed without ruining the rest of the look. I chose a neutral sweater and leopard flats but could easily swap either for another color.

Shirt: Old Navy (similar) / Jeans: Walmart (old) / Shoes: Target (similar)

I love how white jeans or any other bottoms instantly brighten up an outfit. My shirt is out of stock but I linked to a similar, brighter option that's perfect for Spring. I couldn't find a pair of cropped white jeans like mine so that's why no link, and Target no longer carries the brand my shoes are but I linked to a very comparable pair.

Dress: Walmart / Shoes: Target (similar

I literally just bought this dress last weekend and it's already sold out online. I linked to the same style in other colors. There may be some available in your local Walmart. Wearing size M, and probably could have sized down to S but didn't want the shoulders to be too snug. I'll probably swap out the tie sash for a belt the next time I wear it.

Shirt: Target / Joggers: Target / Sneakers: Walmart

I picked up another pair of joggers last week at Target, and man are they soft. The cuffs are a little loose, but I think they'll draw up some once they're washed. I wish I could find these tee online. It is so soft and might be the most comfortable one I own. And these slip-on sneakers are so good. Unfortunately the pink isn't available online but I linked to the colors they do have. Wearing M in shirt and joggers, 7 in shoes.

Dress: Target / Sneakers: Old Navy

I can't say no to a good dress, and this one is really good. It's got a stretch waistband, tie sash, and cute ruffle hem. On me it comes down just past my knees so if you're taller it will probably be shorter. It looks white on the website but I promise it's light blue, almost like chambray. I paired it with navy sneakers for the weekend. Wearing M in the dress and 7 in the shoes.
