Easy Baked Tortellini Recipe

by - May 20, 2020

Who doesn't love a good pasta bake? But, seriously, who has time to make them! I'm always adding them to my Pinterest recipe board but never making them, until I found this super easy, not time consuming recipe. It's so creamy and cheesy and everything a comfort meal is made of. And when I say my family absolutely loved it, I mean we actually saved the leftovers and it got eat the next day. That very rarely happens in my house.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 20 oz. Package Tortellini (refrigerated or frozen)
  • 16 oz. Cream Cheese, softened
  • 24 oz. Jar Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
  • 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Boil your tortellini al dente, according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  3. Brown your ground beef. I use garlic salt and a little Italian seasoning in mine. Drain and return to pan.
  4. Add the spaghetti sauce and cream cheese into the pan with the meat. Stir continuously until it's all blended together smoothly.
  5. Mix the pasta and sauce together and pour into a greased 9x13 baking dish. Top with mozzarella cheese.
  6. Bake for about 20 minutes, followed by 2-3 minutes with the broiler on.
