It’s time for another Real Outfit Roundup. Man, the last two weeks have flown! There has been a lot going on in my world, so plenty of occasions to put a little extra effort into getting dressed. Not to mention that Spring is my favorite season for fashion. Let’s jump right on in!

Sizing info: I'm 5'2" and weigh between 145-150 lbs. I usually wear size small or 6 in most clothing and size 7 in shoes.

I absolutely love this dress. I have it in a purple floral pattern that I wore nonstop last year, and I simply could not resist this yellow! It’s a nice thick cotton with pockets and adjustable straps. It comes in a bunch of patterns. I’m wearing a medium because otherwise it’s a little too clingy.

My denim vest is probably my favorite transition piece, running neck and neck with my denim jacket. It keeps the dress seasonally appropriate without adding too much warmth (it was around 80 degrees this day).

I used my recently-acquired Twist Tee knot to tie the bottom. It took me a few tries to figure it out, but now that I’ve got it I honestly don’t know how I’ve managed without one all these years. This little gadget is so much more efficient than tying the knot yourself and you don’t have to worry about it coming undone. Score!

I’m not sure if clear shoes are still in style this year, but I’m not giving up these clear strap wedges. They are the perfect neutral shoe.

I am officially in love with this tulle skirt and will absolutely be finding more ways to wear it. The waist is elastic and the liner is about mid-thigh on me. The tulle is all different lengths, giving it an edgy vibe that I love.

I put this outfit together for a monthly date night. We went to the movies and dinner, so toning the skirt down with this super cute Barbie tee, denim jacket, and Converse was just right. It also felt very “me.” The skirt is one-size-fits-all type deal. I got the t-shirt in a medium and I'd say other than the length, it fits like a small. You can get it in a men's cut, though, so that would loosen up the fit.

This is probably my favorite outfit combination for warmer months: a graphic tee paired with a fun skirt. The trick is to match at least one color in both pieces of clothing. I'm wearing both the t-shirt and skirt in a size medium. The skirt is slightly fitted around the hips, although the waist is elastic, so I wanted that extra room there. This t-shirt is the same style as the Barbie t-shirt from earlier in the post.

Let’s talk about these sneakers. I’ve been wanting a pair of white sneakers for awhile but just couldn’t bring myself to buy a pair because I knew they’d be dingy in no time at all. But I don’t have to worry about that with this pair! They’re faux leather so they’ll be easy to keep clean.

You guys have seen this maxi dress before, paired with my dark wash denim jacket and tan flats. This go ‘round I reached for this tan denim jacket that came in my StitchFix box. It’s by the Liverpool Jeans company and is so comfy. It’s nice and stretchy, which was perfect for a day spent getting in and out of my car repeatedly. I also wore my favorite tan and white braided sandals.

This was another busy day, but most notably I was interviewing a candidate for my magazine’s new cover photographer so I wanted to look professional and put together but not in a business casual way. I don’t know if that makes sense, but it’s what I was going for.

My blouse is seersucker, which gives it a subtle texture. It’s also got slightly puffed sleeves and is a babydoll style, so it really is the star of the show here, but I specifically crafted this outfit around the shoes. They give me major That 70s Show vibes, and they are surprisingly comfortable.

I don’t really remember what I did this day. What I can tell you is that I was in moderate pain after an unfortunate accident involving my cat and a bubble bath. He somehow ended up in the bath with me and beat one of my legs up pretty bad. Enough that I needed to wear loose clothing, which reminded me of these pants and an outfit I’d been wanting to try. I love the way this turned out!

My pants are a couple years old, but linen really never goes out of style. My Disney Princess tee has the exact same shade of blue in it as the stripes of the pants, and my dark wash denim jacket ties it all together. I almost didn’t wear the sandals because I thought they might be too brown, but I love the contrast they provide.

This column dress is super comfortable but difficult to style. Mainly because it’s completely see-through. So I feel like it will always need something over or under it.

That said, adding this vacay Minnie Mouse tee on top was a whim, but it worked. I used my Twist Tee tool to give it a more snug fit and added my denim jacket for warmth. White sneakers were the perfect spring shoe for this look. In fact, I feel like you'll be seeing a lot of these over the next few months.

You’re probably wondering where the sweater in this mix of outfits came from. Mother Nature decided to give us one last winter weekend, and she showed out. It was cold! My leg was still pretty tender so I opted for these bootcut jeans I’ve had for so long I can’t even remember when I got them. And this is one of my favorite sweaters. It’s got little specks of color woven throughout it. I ran a couple errands so I actually needed shoes, and my brown Chelsea boots were perfect for the cut of the jeans.

I had a mid-morning yoga class this day and didn’t feel like changing after so I stayed in my Starving Spirits gear for the rest of the day. I did throw a tank top over the sports bra. I mostly took this picture because I’ve been using this particular set to watch my progress. Anyway, this set is sold out but I’m gonna link you to their website anyway. I really like their gear. It’s soft and great quality and priced similarly to Fabletics.

Wednesday was probably the busiest day I've had in awhile. I had two photographer interviews (one was rescheduled due to an unforeseen conflict), each on opposite sides of town, with just enough time for lunch in between. When I ended the last one, I went straight to the after school car line. I wanted to be comfortable but in a professional, intentional way. White jeans are the easiest way to put together a crisp, clean look for Spring without feeling overdressed. And this embroidered smock top is so dang cute, y'all. Just be aware that it will shrink a little bit in the wash, so if you're between sizes you might want to go up.
