5 Favorites from September 2021

Happy first day of October, friends! September flew by at the same time that it didn't fly by, which is weird, I know, but that's what it feels like. The last month has been a roller coaster, for sure, especially in terms of my personal life...although, professionally speaking, things were a little crazy, too.

Anyway, in keeping with my mantra of focusing on the good, here are five things that brought me joy in the past month. Enjoy!

Monat Restyle Instant Sculpting Taffy - Did you guys catch my post dedicated to the awesomeness of this styling product? It is officially my favorite. So much so that I would even pay the retail price, which is ridiculous. It's like a mix between a cream and a gel in terms of consistency, but it doesn't dry stiff or crunchy, and it holds for days. Plus, you can use it on wet or dry hair, curly or straight.

Native Deodorant - Last year (I think), I made the decision to swap to aluminum-free deodorant. I'd been having increasingly bad issues with my underarms ranging from irritation to ingrown hairs and was just plain uncomfortable. I've tried several brands, but none of them lasted all day and certainly not through a workout. Then I tried Native, which is on the higher end of the cost spectrum, and I've been so pleased. Not only does it last all day, but it also lasted through a really intense workout without me feeling like I smelled horrible after. I've got the powder and cotton, but I didn't see that on the website.

International Delight Amaretto Coffee Creamer - This flavor was actually recommended to me by a Walmart employee who was in the process of restocking the dairy case, and I'm so glad she did! This is like drinking a chocolate-covered cherry.

Wet 'n' Wild Go Commando Eye Shadow Palette - I picked this up on a whim at the Dollar Store, and it has quickly become my go-to eye shadow. It's like the perfect natural smoky eye for my skin tone, and it only cost a couple bucks.

Drawer Organizers - My makeup drawer in the bathroom needed some major help. These plastic bins are the perfect size and keep my makeup and brushes where I want them so I don't have to dig. I highly recommend!
