Monday Motivation

Happy Monday, friends! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. I actually had the house completely to myself, so I got to sleep in past 8:00, catch up on some non-deadline work, and honestly just be lazy without feeling guilty.

Last week was crazy hectic, especially at the end. Between having a short work week because of the holiday and then the September magazine coming in much later than expected, I was pretty much constantly moving. I did manage to get one good yoga session in, so that helped keep me feeling focused and kept my back from getting too stiff from being in the car so much.

Now, I'm looking ahead at this week and all the things I need to get accomplished. I don't know if you saw last week on my Instagram/Facebook that I've started planning a month's worth of blog content, but that helped tremendously last week. This week, however, I'm not a step ahead because I didn't have the mental capacity to spare for writing ahead. So, as of me sitting down to write this post, nothing is written for the rest of the week outside of the titles. Ahhh!

Also this week -- my husband and I are celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary, and his 36th birthday is this weekend. We don't have any concrete plans yet, but I'm sure they'll revolve around a grill.

Anyway, I've got a to-do list that's a mile long this week so let me hop to it. I hope you all have a great week!
